The BMW G 450 X - on sale in Australia from September 20 - comes ready to race direct from the factory and the German manufacturer says it will deliver ultimate performance for racing or the enthusiast enduro rider.
Following the success of the BMW HP Enduro and HP2 Megamoto in the USA, Spain and here in Australia, the DOHC single-cylinder four-stroke machine - said to produce 37kW and 48Nm - represents another step forward in the competition-bred enduro motorcycle market, BMW says.
Eissions are kept under control with the latest generation fuel injection and with a computer-controlled three-way catalytic converter in the G 450 X.
With the same frame and swing out arm layout as the G 650 X, the new compact bike will be lighter, and should have improved off-road traction.
