Well I hate to start the show with a belly ache but I’m sorry to say governments and police departments are kidding themselves if they think people are getting the road safety.
Last week I drove between Sydney and Brisbane on the notorious Pacific Highway and I was left stunned and shocked at the attitude of some of my fellow motorists.
Plus As you know CR is a friend of the little guy and unfortunately the little guys of the petrol industry are being forced out by the big oil companies and their supermarket bedfellows.
New figures show the problem is very real with at least one in four independents pulling out of the market in the last four years.
If we don’t support independent retailers there will be no competition at all.
We will revisit a chat on that subject that I had with Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce head David Purchase.
